Portugal midfielder could be set to make his first start at home in Wednesday's game and he is an attractive market prices scoring.
He played the first hour or so in the first leg, but in front of his own fans he will be more determined to impress after only 25 minutes in total from the bench in the Premier League.
21 years old, who arrived from Benfica, is a midfielder by trade and, since it tends to be in the three-man midfield with Tanguy Ndombele and Eric Dier, he may have had many opportunities to surge forward and help men Mourinho into five rounds, where a home clash with Norwich awaits.
Given the position he may occupy, the Spurs are expected to have more possession and his shooting statistics - in a Champions League match against Lyon this season he has four attempts - 8/1 best price is definitely worth a small play.
He is not a goalscorer by trade, with just one goal last season (against Bayern Munich, to be fair), but he certainly would be keen to add that for the skillset and the FA Cup clash could be a great way to take a step in that direction.
Mourinho has made no secret of his desire to win this competition in his first season in north London and the desire to be transmitted by the players, which can be full of confidence after the result on Sunday, to see them past the Saints revitalized outfit.
Both managers, though, has admitted disappointment that must go to a replay, but both teams will have at least 10 days until their next game and should be good to go for it here, so Spurs may need some nets at night and close to 2/1 price on them to win by more than 2.5 goals also looks good.
Hasenhuttl Ralph's side narrowly lost here in September and they could only go home disappointed again this time.
Both sides went into the game on the back of a very different outcome after the initial draw. Southampton suffered defeat at the hands of Premier League leaders Liverpool, losing 4-0 at Anfield, while Tottenham beat Manchester City 2-0.
Mourinho's men will take inspiration from the victory, Pep Guardiola's side strangle, and looking to put in a similar performance to secure their place in the next round.
