Inter have struggled in Europe this term, managing just four points from four Champions League group matches so far.
Domestically, however, the Nerazzurri have been exceptional, winning all but two of their first 13 games to find themselves just one point of Serie A leaders Juventus.
That's fine form continued as they won their fourth league game in a row the last time - and extend their unbeaten run to six games in the country - when they beat Torino 3-0 away from home in their last game.
However, this has not translated into a strong performance in the Champions League, with just one win from four matches left them on the verge of dropping into the Europa League.
Antonio Conte's side will be desperate for a win to boost their chances, but Slavia Prague - despite lying in the bottom of the group - has not opponent lightly, draw with Inter in their first game in the competition this season and hold Barcelona away from home in their last.
Slavia Prague domestic record this season is very impressive - they are unbeaten in 17 league games, winning 14 and only conceded three times in this period.
Despite the excellence of their defense, they remain the highest scorers of the league with 36 attacks, three from local rivals Sparta Prague.
Two points from two games against Barcelona and one with Inter is a very respectable distance, and small fish will be looking to make life as difficult as possible for opponents Italy on Wednesday.

While on the road they claimed a very credible draw against Inter and Barcelona, champion and leader of the First League Republic Slavia Prague has yet to take a point at home in Group F.
However, they are not easily brushed aside either by Barca or Dortmund at the Eden Arena that Conte's men will have to be on their game.
Inter will not have fond memories of their last trip to Prague, when they lost 3-1 to Sparta.
