Chelsea travel to Spain on Wednesday for crisis Group H match against Valencia.

After four matches played, Ajax, Chelsea and Valencia are all tied on seven points. Down side Lille, who could still mathematically qualify for the Europa League round of 32, has only one point to their name. Lille hosts Ajax in the other Group H match on Wednesday night.

Chelsea were beaten 2-1 at Premier League champions Manchester City on Saturday. N'golo Kante gave Blues the lead but goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez secure the three points for City.

The results ended a run of seven successive away wins, leaving Chelsea in 4th place, although they still have a commanding seven points over Wolves at 5.

Last outing in the Champions League, Chelsea took part in one of the craziest games of the season. Frank Lampard's side fought back from 4-1 down to draw 4-4 with Ajax at Stamford Bridge. The match featured two own goals, two penalties, two red cards and a lot of drama VAR, including the winner is allowed.

Valencia came from behind to beat Lille 4-1 in their last match in Europe. Dani Parejo, Geoffrey Kondogbia and Feran Torres scored.

Valencia ended a three-game winning streak on Saturday when they were beaten 2-1 at Real Betis, although Maxi Gomez gave Valencia the lead. Los Che are 10th in La Liga after 14 matches.

Wednesday's clash will be the seventh Champions League encounter between the two sides.

Valencia 1-0 winners at Stamford Bridge in the reverse fixture in October - their first ever win over the Blues. Rodrigo Moreno scored the only goal of the game.

Chelsea have won two and drawn one of their three visits to the Mestalla.

Lampard is likely to be handed a recall to Mason Mountain after the England international is down to the bench at the weekend.

playmaker could replace Mateo Kovacic, providing that N'golo Kante not experiencing problems injury against Man City.

Andreas Christensen and Callum Hudson-Odoi also pushing to start a role, although Lampard can choose to keep changes to a minimum.

As for Valencia, Celades can leave early for Kevin Gameiro, who only showing off the bench against Betis.

Prediction

With both teams were able to get away with a win, it's either going to be a tight game or goalfest a. Chelsea are involved, the latter may be expected but the Blues have not been very productive in the Champions League.

Four of their seven goals came in an entertaining draw with Ajax and those who had previously failed to score against Valencia at Stamford Bridge, with Los Che boasting a decent defense.

However, Lampard men should still have just about enough to edge the game and securing their development.
