Freiburg vs Eintracht Frankfurt Betting Tips

Freiburg Schwarzwald-Stadium set to host a meeting between the two Bundesliga sides in the form Sunday night, as the hosts face Eintracht Frankfurt. Eintracht will be hoping to put their midweek Europa League loss behind them and pick up where they left off last weekend against Bayern Munich.

Both teams have been hard to beat in recent weeks. Freiburg have lost one of their last seven Bundesliga matches. Meanwhile, Eintracht have lost just one of their last six matches in the Bundesliga. Therefore we feel the two sides would be difficult to separate in a game this weekend.

Eintracht had a memorable lost only two of their last 10 games in all competitions. However, their away form has let them down lately. They have lost five of their six away games Bundesliga. They also lost away to Standard Liege in midweek Europa League match them. We feel Eintracht poor away form is likely to continue in this weekend's trip to Freiburg.

One positive for Eintracht go into this weekend's games are Freiburg has not exactly been firing on all cylinders at home this season. They have won just two of their five home Bundesliga matches. However, Freiburg have lost just one of their five home Bundesliga fixtures this season.

We feel Freiburg tend to get a result in a game this weekend, so we were back Freiburg double-chance in this fixture. Eintracht tend to be more comfortable on the ball of Freiburg. However, none of the two teams could be described as a team-based ownership; both are relatively direct in their style of play.

We predict this game will see a lot of scoring chances created for both parties. Freiburg have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last seven competitive fixtures. Meanwhile, Eintracht has scored in all 10 Bundesliga matches this season.

Eintracht have conceded at least two goals in five of six of their last Bundesliga away games, while Freiburg have scored exactly two goals in four of their last six matches in all competitions. Freiburg only failed to score twice in the second they have recently Bundesliga and DFB Pokal fixtures vs Union Berlin.

We are backing Freiburg to take a hard-fought 2-1 win from this Sunday’s clash.
